Job Responsibilities:
Technical Engineering Services
- Drives engineering projects by developing software solutions; conducting tests and inspections; preparing reports and calculations. Expected to supervise base and associate level engineers as needed.
- Understands system protocols, system operations, and data flows. Is aware of the benefits of current technologies. Expected to independently develop a complete software stack. Possesses knowledge of the building blocks, interactions, dependencies, and tools required to complete software and automation tasks. Engages in independent study of current technologies.
- AI-Powered Solution Development
- Design and integrate AI/ML models into intelligent applications using frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, or Azure ML.
- Cloud-Native Architecture & Services
- Build, deploy, and maintain applications on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) using services like Azure Functions, AWS Lambda, and serverless components.
- Kubernetes & Containerization
- Containerize applications using Docker and manage deployments on Kubernetes clusters for scalability, high availability, and fault tolerance.
- Data Engineering & Integration
- Design and develop robust data pipelines using tools like Apache Spark, Azure Data Factory, or Databricks. Work with structured and unstructured data across data lakes, warehouses, and relational databases.
- Microservices & API Development
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using modern backend frameworks, ensuring integration with AI models and data sources.
Innovation
- Contributes to designs to implement new ideas which utilize new frameworks to improve an existing or new system/process/service.
- Review existing designs and processes to highlight more efficient ways to complete existing workload more effectively through industry perspectives.
- Understands the creation of company IPR.
Technical Leadership
- Collaborates with technical teams and utilizes system expertise to deliver technical solutions.
- Continuously learns and teaches others existing and new technologies.
- Contributes to the development of others through mentoring or in house workshops and learning sessions.
Technology Strategy
- Contributes to new and existing technology options that support business goals.
- Demonstrates an understanding of current technologies that support business goals. Possesses knowledge of system protocols, system operations, and data flows. Is aware of the benefits offered by modern technologies. Expected to independently develop a complete software stack. Understands the building blocks, interactions, dependencies, and tools required to complete software and automation tasks. Independent study of current technologies is expected. Collaborates with system engineers to define system requirements and/or requirements for automation.
Technical Writing
- Writes basic documentation on how technology works. Creates clear documentation for new code and systems used.
- Documenting systems designs, presentations, and business requirements for consumption and consideration at the manager level.
Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline (Required)
- 4–7+ years of technical engineering experience (Required)
- Experience in building, deploying, and maintaining applications on cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS, utilizing services like Azure Functions, AWS Lambda, and other serverless components.
- Proficiency in designing and integrating AI/ML models into intelligent applications using frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, or Azure ML.
- Skilled in designing and developing robust data pipelines using tools like Apache Spark, Azure Data Factory, or Databricks.
- 4–7+ years of experience with programming languages such as Python/R, Java/Scala, and/or Go (Preferred)
- 4–7+ years of experience delivering high-quality ML models in production environments (Preferred)

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
