Job OverviewThis role supports business sales by applying technical expertise to design and present wireless communication solutions that address Small and Medium Business customer needs across the Houston, TX metropolitan area. The position involves consulting with customers to understand business challenges and architecting solutions using wireless network technologies, software, security, and hardware.
The role requires maintaining expert knowledge of wireless products, network coverage, and value-added solutions to deliver informed technical guidance. Success is measured by the ability to facilitate customer engagements, support the sales process, and ensure technical alignment with business objectives.
This work directly impacts the organization by enabling effective wireless solution sales and enhancing customer satisfaction through strong technical consultation and advisement.
Job Responsibilities:
Collaborate with sales teams to support business sales efforts and drive wireless solution adoption
- Engage with customers to analyze wireless network coverage and recommend appropriate solutions
- Deliver technical presentations and demonstrations of wireless devices and network capabilities
- Maintain expert-level knowledge of wireless technologies, devices, and industry trends through ongoing training
- Perform other duties or projects as assigned by business management
Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 7 years of related work experience OR a combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Required)
- 7–10 years of experience in telecommunications, IT administration, technology leadership, security, SAAS, or network engineering roles, with a professional track record of exceeding solution sales targets and managing internal and external relationships in a matrix environment
- Experience supporting Small & Medium Business accounts
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Technical Leadership (Preferred)
- Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills (Required)
- Applications: Proficiency with business application software (Required)
- Prior mentorship experience and the ability to provide strategic direction in a leadership role (Preferred)
- Technical Presentations: Ability to create and deliver technical presentations (Required)
- Subject Matter Expertise in at least two areas of focus (e.g., SD-WAN/Edge, SaaS, Security, Fixed 5G/Routers, etc.) (Required)
- At least 18 years of age
