The Sponsorships team is tasked with leveraging strategic partnerships to drive T-Mobile’s Brand and Business objectives. The Sr. Sponsorships Manager (Golf) will be responsible for managing all aspects of our partnership with PGA of America which includes marketing activity around the Men’s PGA Championship, KPMG Women’s Championship, Ryder Cup, and the Coaching Center in Frisco. They will partner on the development of annual sponsorship strategies, oversee cross-functional planning and campaign execution, and be accountable for performance measurement and executive recapping. In addition, they will support sponsorships team leadership on budget forecasting, landscape analysis, portfolio optimization, and contract negotiations when appropriate.The individual should have a deep passion for leveraging sports partnerships to create impactful brand experiences and drive business goals. They should bring expertise in partnership strategy, asset management, relationship development, and cross-functional leadership. The role will oversee all go-to-market activities pertaining to T-Mobile’s golf vertical including, but not limited to, strategic planning, execution, and measurement. They will work in close collaboration with internal marketing functions and external agency partners to ideate, build and deliver breakthrough sports marketing campaigns. This role reports to the Director of Sports Marketing.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with team leadership and line of business stakeholders on the development of T-Mobile’s annual golf activation strategy
- Manage cross-functional campaign efforts, partnering with key marketing functions on the development and execution of breakthrough sports marketing campaigns around some of golf’s biggest moments
- Partner with Talent team to build and manage a compelling Player and influencer roster
- Track and manage all contractual assets pertaining to T-Mobile’s PGA of America partnership
- Management of the golf activation and sponsorship budget
- Partner with product and technology teams to demonstrate T-Mobile solutions and services at tentpole events
- Develop comprehensive presentations, briefs and other materials for planning and executive needs
- Foster relationships with properties, agencies, vendors, and key internal stakeholders
- Establish KPIs, drive measurement workstreams, and spearhead cross-functional and executive reporting
- Provide additional support across the Sports team, as needed
Qualifications:
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and partner relationships for or on behalf of a big brand
- Experience utilizing sponsorships and events to drive brand and business growth at a national and local level
- Experience partnering with product and/or technology teams to showcase services through partner integrations
- Strategic thinker with ability to deliver clear and concise marketing strategies to all organizational levels
- Experience managing a robust set of high-impact partnership assets
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and consistently meet deadline
- Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to accept and provide direction
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business or a related field
- Minimum of 7-10 years of relevant experience (e.g., brand marketing, sponsorship marketing)
- Understanding of the wireless industry, 5G technology and how it’s being leveraged across partnerships to enhance fan experiences and drive operational efficiencies
- Strong understanding of the golf ecosystem – landscape, audiences, trends, partner activations, etc.
- Experience in both B2C and B2B marketing disciplines
Travel
- Must be able to attend sponsorship partner meetings and events, possibly including holidays and/or more than 40 hours per week, travel up to 25% of the year

Base Pay Range: $88,000 - $158,700Corporate Bonus Target: 15%
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
