This is a 12-week paid learning experience during which you'll be able to connect and network with other interns and leaders within the company. We invite you to come innovate with mentors who will challenge you to develop meaningful skills. you'll contribute to creativity and outstanding ideas, while working alongside T-Mobile employees. We'll give you hand-on projects and the chance to create an immediate impact.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Technical Engineering Services
    - Participates in engineering projects by adapting and applying software solutions; conducting tests and inspections; preparing reports and calculations.
    - Ability to learn technologies being used. Understands system protocols, how systems operate and data flows. Aware of current technology benefits. Expected to independently develop a full software stack. Understands the building blocks, interactions, dependencies, and tools required to complete software and automation work. Independent study of current technology.

  • Technical Writing
    - Maintains clear documentation for new code and systems used. Documenting systems designs and business requirements.

  • Technical Leadership
    - Collaborates with technical team to deliver technical solutions. Continuously learns new technologies. Ability to offer and communicate ideas and opinions. Awareness of technology roadmap.

  • Technology Strategy
    - Contributes to emerging technologies to deliver business goals.
    - Understands current technology that supports business goals. Understands system protocols, how systems operate and data flows. Aware of current technology benefits. Expected to independently develop a full software stack. Understands the building blocks, interactions, dependencies, and tools required to complete software and automation work. Independent study of current technology is expected. Interact with system engineers to define system requirement and/or necessary requirements for automation.

  • Innovation
    - Understands and shares new ideas which improve an existing system/process/service. System analysis and innovation for continuous system improvement.


Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree Computer Science or Engineering (Required)

  • Less than 2 years - Technical engineering experience.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Communication (Required)

  • Customer Service (Required)

  • Analytics (Required)

  • Technical Writing (Required)


Licenses and Certifications:

    • At least 18 years of age

    • Legally authorized to work in the United States

    • High School Diploma or GED

    • Must be actively enrolled in a degree program or graduated with the last year

    • Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for Internships

    Employers does not sponsor work visas for this position.  Note that this also applies to individuals who are students of F-1 status who desire sponsorship after they complete their education.

    Relocation reimbursement may be provided to program participants who reside more than 50 miles from the internship location.

    Intern wages range from $20/hour to $40/hour.  The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on experience/location.

    Base Pay Range: $66,900 - $120,600

    Corporate Bonus Target: 10%

    The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

    At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.
