IT Procurement & Supply Chain team is seeking a Technology Solutions Manager to support a team who is driving two critical workstreams in T-Mobile’s transformation journey that includes building a whole new Oracle ERP Platform. This role plays a meaningful role in navigating tight timelines, a highly sophisticated environment characterized by ambiguity, changing priorities, bringing order to chaos through their meticulous organization and attention to detail. They excel in communicating at the executive level and possess the ability to summarize complex technical concepts in clear, everyday terms. This role involves wearing multiple hats, acting as a project coordinator - a program manager and a strategist, able to implement as needed by the team. They lead scoping discussions, determine technical feasibility, envision technical solutions, and establish the overall technical delivery strategy amidst intricate challenges. The Technology Solutions Manager collaborates closely with business customers to prioritize initiatives and define the approach for delivering solutions within business processes. Additionally, they orchestrate efforts across technology groups to ensure the design and delivery of comprehensive solutions that effectively meet business requirements. Knowledge of ERP applications especially of Oracle and SAP is highly valued. Background in API integration, event based, EDI and file-based integrations would help. This role would also involve engaging in Financial and Resource Management.

Job Responsibilities:

Project Management:

  • Supports the delivery of technology solutions within business processes by providing leadership in analysis, design, and project and product management.
  • Supports issue triage on partner concern resolution for technical solution issues.
  • Serves as technical owner (accountable IT representative) and is responsible for technical stewardship of the full variety of business deployment initiatives.
  • Engages IT teams, shared services partners, vendor partners and business partners to align on program plans and drive execution to meet the timelines. Initiates risk management and critical issues as needed.
  • Manages inception activities, including breakdown of business requirements and technical scope definition.
  • Partners with Senior level resources to define technology strategy approach for business process initiatives and to provide recommendations on scope delivery planning.

Strategy:

  • Partners with technical teams and business to drive strategy, prioritization, approach, and goals of initiative.
  • Prepares high level solution design presentations for business and org leadership review.
  • Evolve and serve as a SME of workstream capabilities.

Operations:

  • Establish an operational rhythm collaborating with the core team, boundary teams, shared services, business partners to govern the vision, strategy, and execution plans for the workstream.
  • Monitor and when needed define KPIs and metrics to measure the progress, success and impact of the team deliverables and larger program.
  • Identifies improvements, makes critical decisions and works with domain authorities throughout the organization to implement solutions.
  • Multi-tasks while running business requests from end-to-end for core systems, in a fast paced and rapidly-changing environment.

Relationship and People Management:

  • Performs day-to-day management of business partner relationships on cross domain initiatives.
  • Partners across multiple IT teams, and Business to ensure transparency on assessment impacts in alignment with scope of project or initiative.
  • Identifies, analyzes, and synthesizes information, applying critical thought to present the information in a clear and meaningful way.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree Computer Science or Other Technical Discipline. (Required)

Work Experience:

  • 4-7 years experience in related business environment.
  • 2-4 years experience in Supply Chain Domain preferably with background in Oracle Supply Chain Suite.
  • 1-2 years experience with exposure to technical architecture and design

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Analytics: Ability to gather and use data to drive conclusions and decisioning. (Required)
  • Communication: Communicates technical and functional solutions effectively and efficiently. (Required)
  • MS Office - PowerPoint & Excel: Able to prepare executive facing presentations and data driven insights
  • Prioritization: Ability to separate what is important from what is urgent and find the best path forward from among multiple scenarios. Good Project Management skills desired.
  • Problem Solving: Sound problem-solver who can quickly process complex information and present it clearly and simply to a diverse audience.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Technology certifications (such as Cloud, Java, Microsoft, Oracle) a plus
  • Architecture (TOGAF, etc) preferred
  • Supply Chain Management preferred

Base Pay Range: $95,300 - $171,900

Corporate Bonus Target: 15%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.
