Vendor Manager

Job Overview
The Vendor Manager is responsible for managing key strategic suppliers, including all embedded processes and performance management (contractual KPIs/metric and obligations.) It will effectively communicate with leadership across business units. Representing vendor management team in communications with internal teams. Proactively supporting resolution of operational and functional issues.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Procurement and Business Units, to ensure alignment of vendor management strategies with overall business goals. Continuously assess and improve vendor management processes and practices to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and vendor performance.
  • Development and delivery of reporting, weekly/monthly dashboards and metrics, and SRM program. Support development of supplier segmentation criteria and ensure suppliers are segmented and prioritized.
  • Enforce contract terms and SLAs. Tracks supplier performance and status of planned projects; facilitates scorecard reporting to CPO.
  • Monitors Procurement & Supply Chain and Business Unit collaboration with suppliers and consults business unit partners on SRM best practices and supplier development.
  • Audit, control and process all invoices and credit memos as required.
  • Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree Business, Finance, Engineering or equivalent experience. (Required)

Work Experience:

  • 2-4 years vendor management experience (Required)
  • 2-4 years contract and performance management experience (Required)
  • Wireless industry experience (Preferred)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Vendor Management (Required)

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. (Required)
  • Proven ability to manage multiple vendors and projects simultaneously. (Required)
  • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

Base Pay Range: $78,600 - $141,700

Corporate Bonus Target: 15%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.
