The Vice President of Brand Public Relations & Communications will be a champion for the T-Mobile brand to position the company as a leader in wireless & technology, driving thoughtful, bold and integrated storytelling and communications strategies.Laser focused on broadening T-Mobile’s reach, visibility and consideration, this role is responsible for generating significant earned media to amplify marketing initiatives (advertising, social, creator, sponsorships, sports & entertainment) as well as brand fame moments (product launches & partnerships) coupled with regional & cause marketing.
Reporting directly to the Chief Brand and Communications Officer, this leader will set and execute a unified communications strategy that amplifies T-Mobile’s story, builds brand fame, and deepens cultural relevance. This role leads a team of communications professionals who bring creativity, precision, and influence to every narrative, from major launches and brand campaigns to leadership visibility and creator collaborations.
Finally, this leader will drive executive communications for key commercial and marketing executives including the Chief Operating Officer, Chief Product & Business Officer, Chief Business & Growth Officer, as well as internal, social and external communications for sales & marketing, customer experience, retail, product and B2B functions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead brand-building and brand-awareness efforts through progressive, integrated communications.
- Activate and amplify marketing initiatives and brand fame across sponsorships, sports, entertainment, partnerships, high-stakes content, creators, and influencers.
- Own PR planning, integration and execution for marketing events, Un-carrier moves, product launches, CSR and community communications.
- Partner closely with brand marketing to develop integrated marketing plans that seamlessly connect paid media to earned media, ensuring full-funnel and 360 communications impact.
- Shape and operationalize a broader Brand & Communications organization; lead long-range planning and strategy to support the brand.
- Leads a team supporting continuous improvement by providing clear direction, navigating change, and communicating priorities, while coaching, developing, and hiring top talent.
Work Experience & Education
- 15+ years’ experience leading Corporate Communications for a leading consumer brand.
- Proven brand and consumer-storytelling expertise, with experience delivering campaigns in progressive, modern media environments; strong media-relations background and agency-management skills.
- Corporate Communications expertise with a commercial mindset, strong understanding of media relations and risk management, and the ability to activate both media and social channels.
- Demonstrated success advising the C-suite and influencing senior leaders internally and externally at a high level.
- Experience developing strong relationships with external partners to strengthen brand presence.
- Provides day-to-day leadership and guidance to team members, supporting their development through coaching and feedback while fostering a positive, collaborative team environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Marketing or related field; Masters Preferred.

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as qualifications and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.
